FORKLIFT OPERATORS- OP with Fall arrest

SHIFTS AVAILABLE:



• Afternoon (3 pm - 11:30 pm)



• PAY : $20/hr– OT paid as 1.5x after 44.00 hours.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Operating an Order Picker forklift as per the order(s) assigned.
• Using a Fall Harness while operating an Order Picker forklift to ensure safe work environment.
• Picking different skids and wrapping them before finalizing the order.
• Performing a circle check of the forklift before and after operating it for safety purposes.
• Performing a quick quality check before packing, and if anything damaged found, informing the floor supervisor or quality department about it.
• Working on heights to pick any product(s). This will require heavy lifting up to 50-60 Lbs.
• Following company’s safety rules and regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
• Attending daily meetings before the shift start to better understand the business needs.
• Wear PPE whenever needed. For example: When using a cutter, safety gloves must be worn.
• Perform other duties assigned.

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS

• 1+ years’ experience working as a Forklift operator.
• Experience operating Order Picker forklift is a must.
• CSA approved Safety shoes are must.
• Valid forklift license from a designated forklift training school.
• Able to work a 40-50 hours on weekly basis.
• Comfortable lifting up to 40-50 Lbs.
• Good communication skills.
• Able to work with little supervision.
• Comfortable working on heights.
